Dr. John E. Larcabal, O.D.
Dr. John Larcabal is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. He has been in practice for 20 years and has been very involved in various professional volunteer organizations. Dr. Larcabal is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association (COA). He has served as President of the COA as well as the Rio Hondo Optometric Society, and teaches at the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry Dr. Larcabal has lectured nationally and internationally and has received numerous awards including Young Optometrist of the Year, as well as the Golden Apple Award from the local School District for his assistance in the visual well being of the children in the community |

Dr. Diane M. Almanza, O.D.
Dr. Almanza is a graduate from the Southern California College of Optometry. She has received various awards including: Roger Kame Memorial Scholarship for Clinical Excellence, GP Lens Institute Clinical Excellence, and the Dr. John Dean Student Research Award. Dr. Almanza currently teaches at the Southern CA College of Optometry. She is a member of the California Optometric Association where she served as a chair on the membership committee. Special interests include pediatrics and contact lenses. When Dr. Almanza is not practicing optometry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, scrapbooking and dining out. |

Dr. Lisa Matsui, O.D.
Dr. Lisa Matsui is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice for over 15 years and has spent the last 11 years here in the City of Brea. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. She currently serves on the Alumni Board of Directors for the Southern California College of Optometry. Special interests include contact lenses and family practice. Outside of the office, Dr. Matsui enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. When asked what she likes about being an optometrist, she will tell you that, "it's being able to see my patients and their families year after year and knowing that they trust me as their primary eyecare provider". |

Poonam
Poonam is an optician that will style and fit you into a frame that suits you best! With over six years of experience, Poonam enjoys everything about what she does. After graduating Charter Oak High School in 2000, she went on to Mt. SAC which is where she found her passion for the field of optometry. When Poonam is not at Brea Optometry, she enjoys sitting front row at comedy shows and going to concerts. She loves to have fun and spend time with her family! |

Yvonne
Yvonne joined our Brea Optometry team in December of 2007. She has been in the optometry field since 2002. She is an optician, and one of her favorite things to do at our office is to help patients pick out their new glasses. When Yvonne is not at Brea Optometry, she enjoys watching movies with her brother and sisters, hanging out with close friends and watching basketball and spending time with her fiancé, Kevin. “Go Lakers!!!” |

Patty
Patty is a doctor’s assistant. She joined the Brea Optometry team in July of 2006. She has been a proud member of the Brea Community for 20 years. She has three children that have all gone through the Brea Olinda School District. Patty enjoys helping patients will all of the optical needs! |

Kayla
Kayla is a doctor’s assistant. She enjoys pre-testing patients and dispensing new glasses to patients. On her free time she enjoys singing, dancing and drawing. Kayla has lived in Brea for four years, and is currently a senior at Brea Olinda High School. After high school, Kayla plans to attend Fullerton College for two years and then transferring to BYU in Provo, Utah. |

Gloria
Gloria has been in the optical field for 19 years. She is a certified optician and has experience in assisting patients to choose eyewear that is best suited for their everyday needs as well as keeping them updated with the latest styles. She is experienced in training patients on how to properly care for contacts. Her youngest patient being her son when he was only six years old. She says she has "the privilege of working with a great team of Doctors and staff in turn making my job a pleasure." When Gloria is not at the office she is enjoying family time with her husband of 21 years and their 13 year old son. Her favorite pass time is dreaming up new dessert recipes, which she loves to share with her family and friends. |
